25th Safety Seminar

Last week, Fertilizers Europe had the pleasure of hosting its 25th Safety Seminar in Kavala, in collaboration with Kavala Solutions and Medphos.

The event opened with remarks from Theodoros Markopoulos, Governor of the Kavala region, who warmly welcomed us to Kavala. We sincerely thank him for his kind words and support!

The Safety Seminar is an annual event dedicated to Fertilizers Europe members, serving as an important platform for industry professionals to exchange best practices and discuss key developments in workplace safety, risk management, and operational excellence.

A key highlight of this year’s seminar was the site visit hosted by Kavala Solutions and Medphos. Participants had the opportunity to visit the ammonia, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid plants, as well as the port operations, gaining valuable first-hand insights into site operations and safety procedures.

The open dialogue throughout the seminar served as a strong reminder that safety excellence is built through collaboration and a continuous commitment to learning and improvement.
