Director General
Antoine Hoxha
Antoine Hoxha has been working for the association since 2010, playing an active role in driving industry’s decarbonization efforts.
Before joining Fertilizers Europe, he worked for 8 years in the fertilizers industry where he held positions in R&D and licensing. Prior to that, he was a teaching assistant at the University of Liège (BE) and at Warwick University (UK). Antoine holds a PhD in Chemistry from University of Liège as well as an Executive MBA from Louvain School of Management.
Antoine speaks French, Albanian, English, Portuguese and Italian.

Sean Mackle
Sean Mackle is a Graduate from the European School of Studies at the University of Sussex, UK. This course included one full academic year at L’Universite de Dijon, France.
Sean has a long career in international trade, law and economics commencing at the Middle East Economic Digest in London as a researcher; then at CEFIC as a Trade Counsellor; then as Head of International Trade from the UK Chemical Industries Association in London for 10 years.
He is presently Director, Trade & Economic Policy at Fertilizers Europe where he has worked for 15 years.
Jenny Wahlman
Jenny was born in Sweden, grew up in Belgium and spent nearly ten years in Italy. Her latest professional experience was at EFTA’s Financial Mechanism Office in Brussels where, during six years, she used her skills as Office Administrator.
She speaks English, French, Italian, Swedish and is improving her Dutch every day. In her free time she enjoys playing golf.
Łukasz Pasterski
Łukasz Pasterski joined Fertilizers Europe in April 2018.
Łukasz is an all-round communicator with over 7 years experience as a communication professional in Brussels. Prior to joining Fertilizers Europe, he worked for over 6 years for the European Petroleum Refiners Association and a year for the European Commission’s Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation. He holds a Master degree in Political Science (University of Birmingham) and a Bachelor degree in European Studies (Maastricht University).
Łukasz speaks Polish, English, French and a little German. In his free time he enjoys playing football.
Jasmine Barahman
Jasmine joined Fertilizers Europe in February 2021.
Before joining Fertilizers Europe she worked for 10 years in the European Parliament focusing mainly on Industry, Energy, Social Affairs, Foreign policy and Human Rights. She also has experience working in the Italian Parliament and as a press officer.
Jasmine holds two master’s degrees: in Euro-Mediterranean Integration and in Literature and European studies.
Jasmine speaks Italian, Iranian, English and French. In her free time, she loves reading, writing, sailing and being by the sea.
Cecilia Dardes
Cecilia Dardes joined Fertilizers Europe in March 2022.
She holds a MSc in Law, from the University of Rome. Before joining Fertilizers Europe she worked for 7 years as a Policy Advisor for the farmers organization Coldiretti in Brussels, mainly focussing on EU agriculture and sustainability policies.
Cecilia speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys travelling and outdoor activities.
Gabor Marton
Gabor Marton is our Senior Data & Statistics Analyst. He has two master university degrees. One of chemistry and one of economics. He used to work in Budapest for the Hungarian National Innovation Office. He also represented Hungary in the Seventh Framework Program of the European Union in the themes of Energy and Environment.
Gabor speaks Hungarian, English, German and Dutch. In his free time he enjoys travelling and photography.
Sofia Tsaliki
Sofia Tsaliki joined Fertilizers Europe in 2018.
Sofia holds a BSc degree in Business Administration from University of Florence and a MSc degree in International Business Management with Sustainability Management from Heriot Watt University. Her professional background includes experiences in Communication, Marketing and Community Management with a strong focus on digital strategy. She has previously worked for the Italian Association for Corporate Social Responsibility.
Sofia speaks English, Italian, French and Albanian and a little Greek. Her passions are music, sport and visual arts.
Adriana Ravara
Adriana joined Fertilizers Europe in January 2022. She has a BSc. in Economics and a Double MSc. in Development Economics. Adriana started her career as a Research Assistant for a Finance Professor at Imperial College, working in Mozambique and in Lisbon for one year, and then came to Brussels, where she gained experience at the EU institutions and then in the health sector as data analyst.
Adriana speaks Portuguese, English, French and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, yoga and reading.
Hannah Todd
Hannah Todd joined Fertilizers Europe in March 2023.
She graduated from the University of Durham (UK) with a degree in Chemistry. Prior to joining Fertilizers Europe, Hannah worked at the UK Atomic Energy Authority as a Process Plant Engineer working on nuclear fusion hydrogen fuelling systems.
Hannah speaks English and is learning French and Italian. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports, particularly basketball, singing in her pop punk band, and learning the piano.
Chris Poole
Chris Poole joined Fertilizers Europe in September 2022.
He graduated from the University of Malta with a degree in Geography and is currently completing his MSc in Biosphere Reserves Management from the University for Sustainable Development in Eberswalde. Prior to joining Fertilizers Europe Chris spent several years working in the agricultural sector and completed his training as a journeyman winemaker at Weingut Georg Breuer.
Chris speaks English, German and French. In his free time, he enjoys playing board games and repairing pocket watches.
Leticia Salvador
Leticia is a recent graduate from the University of Navarra, Spain. During her studies in International Business Administration she spent two semesters studying abroad, one in Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the other in Rennes School of Business.
Before joining Fertilizers Europe, Leticia was a marketing analyst in the American multinational company 3M in Madrid where she worked for the automotive and aerospace industry.
Leticia speaks Spanish, English and French. She loves art and creativity, specially she enjoys painting. She is open minded, efficient, and flexible.
Alexander Roth
Alexander is a graduate from Lund University, Sweden with bachelor’s degree in European Studies and German. He spent one semester studying abroad in Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany. After graduating worked for a German magazine in Düsseldorf and for the European Parliament as a communications trainee.
Alexander speaks Swedish, English, German some Norwegian and Danish and is trying to learn French. He has spent many years in singing in a choir and has acted in musical theatre.
