The Chairs of the Forum on Plant Nutrition, MEP Peter Jahr (EPP, Germany) and MEP Ulrike Müller (Renew Europe, Germany), with organisational support from Fertilizers Europe, are delighted to invite you to the upcoming virtual meeting of the "Forum on Plant Nutrition - From food security to carbon farming” which will take place on 9 February 2022.
This year the Forum will delve into two emergent topics: fertilizer crisis and carbon farming. During the first session agri-food stakeholders will discuss the current energy crisis which has severely impacted the operations of the EU fertilizer industry. The second session of the Forum will focus on the role of farming practices and the use of fertilizers in helping to sequester carbon in agricultural soils. For more details see full programme.
