"The Forum on Fertilizers and Nutrients for Growth" held on the 10th of July, was amongst the first open forums for discussing and sharing ideas on CAP 2021-27 and how the future of food and farming might be shaped, just after the Comission's proposal. A total of 5 MEPs and about 35 other stakeholders turned up, among them the rapporteur on the file Esther Herranz García (EPP, ES).
Deputy Director-General Rudolf Mögele from the European Commission presented the vision of the EU Commission for the future of the EU food and farming policy after 2020. His contribution led to a lively discussion between the speakers from WWF, GAIA Epicheirein and Tiffanie Stéphani from Fertilizers Europe and the audience.
